Fulfillment Center Worker

Job Summary:

Cosco is seeking an individual that can take ownership and responsibility for their position. You will be handling an important aspect of our operations, guaranteeing the timely processing of incoming inventory and keeping accurate inventory records. You'll have to exhibit the ability to multitask, be an excellent communicator and hold yourself accountable for your performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Among the duties required for this position is the receipt of merchandise from suppliers, which involves carefully verifying the contents of each delivery against the accompanying packing lists or purchase orders, and performing preliminary inspections to identify any discrepancies or issues.
• Scrutinize the received merchandise carefully to establish if they satisfy the established quality standards. Promptly report any instances of flawed or defective goods to the appropriate staff for remediation.
• Allocate storage spaces for inventory according to established procedures. Work closely with team members to ensure that the storage practices are efficient and organized.
• To ensure efficient receiving operations, it is essential to maintain a detailed record of all deliveries that come in, including quantities, the state of products, and any variances. Generate periodic reports to gauge performance and inventory levels.
• Work alongside suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to swiftly address receiving-related issues or inquiries. Promote smooth workflow and operational effectiveness by maintaining active communication with team members.

Qualifications:

• The minimum qualification for this post is a high school diploma or a certificate of equivalence thereof. However, aspirants with supplementary education or accreditation in logistics or supply chain management will be given preference.
• Knowledge and proficiency in warehouse operations, particularly in receiving and handling inventory.
• Skill in working with software that handles inventory management and devices that scan barcodes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and adeptness in maintaining precise standards in a fast-moving setting.
• Skilled at organizing and managing time efficiently.
• Effectively communicating requires being able to articulate thoughts and ideas in a concise and coherent manner.
• Proficiency to carry and transfer massive materials, as needed.
