This pivotal role is essential for ensuring precise financial reporting, adhering to tax laws and regulations, and executing strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing financial efficiency.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Direct all phases of tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research.</li><li>Utilize tax software including Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooks (preferred).</li><li>Remain informed on current tax laws and developments.</li><li>Leverage expertise in tax issues, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific concerns to advise clients effectively.</li><li>Prepare a variety of tax returns, including Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate.</li><li>Collaborate on complex accounting projects with other team members.</li><li>Maintain exceptional attention to detail and manage client relationships proficiently.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with adept time management capabilities.</li><li>A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a commitment to excellence.</li><li>Ability to manage staff accountants, providing mentorship and evaluating performance.</li><li>Recognize opportunities for additional client services and enhance operational efficiencies.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting (Required)</li><li>CPA certification (Required)</li><li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in a CPA firm (Required)</li><li>Experience in real estate (Preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products (Preferred)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Career Growth Opportunities<br><br></strong>We are committed to providing our team members with opportunities for professional development and advancement.
