A diverse and friendly nursery in South London is currently looking for a Early Childhood Educator to start ASAP or in January 2025. This is a great opportunity to work with a lovely team of likeminded individuals who are dedicated to early childhood education and development.
With support from a caring management team and opportunities for career development and various benefits and bonuses, this nursery is a wonderful place to work for any Early Childhood Educator. This is a full-time role to work 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday 8am-6pm) but this can be flexible, and it is a permanent position, offering stability.
As an Early Childhood Educator, some of your duties would include:
• Supporting children with their personal, social and emotional development
• Helping children to build on their social skills and develop positive relationships from a young age
• Assisting children with the development of early reading and literacy, and early maths skills development
• Following the EYFS curriculum closely to plan stimulating activities
• Encouraging development through interactive play, exploration and learning
• Providing a supportive environment that allows every child to explore, discover and grow at their own pace
A Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Early Childhood Educator position.
