Document Controller | Data Entry Clerk
Posted 2025-08-23We are seeking a Document Controller | Data Entry Clerk to join our team based in San Mateo, California. The remoite role is positioned within the financial services industry and involves remote working. This employment opportunity offers a long term contract.
Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret 401k statements to extract relevant data
• Enter and maintain data in a new database with high precision
• Leverage Google docs for data entry and record management
• Communicate effectively with the team via Slack or similar chat platforms
• Handle 7-10 documents on a daily basis ensuring a 24-hour turnaround on processing forms
• Provide assistance with reporting needs as required
• Navigate complex documents comfortably and efficiently
• Work flexibly with the ability to connect on East Coast time
• Utilize a proprietary in-house database and PDFs for data handling and management
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry• Proven proficiency in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Demonstrated skills in data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Strong experience in document control, including organizing, storing, and managing documents
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
