ABA Compliance Specialist Full-Time | Remote | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWillow ABA Services is seeking a highly detail-oriented and regulatory-savvy ABA Compliance Specialist to lead compliance efforts across our center-based programs, school-based ABA services, and remote caregiver support model. You’ll also have the opportunity to guide internal audits and provide regulatory insight across diverse service models—all while working remotely.<hr>What You’ll Do The ABA Compliance Specialist will develop, monitor, and maintain compliance systems across center-based, school-based, and remote caregiver support services. You’ll lead policy creation, oversee licensing and credentialing, manage audits, and ensure all teams are operating within applicable federal, state, local, and payer requirements.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Interpret and implement regulations and licensing requirements for:<ul><li>Center-based ABA programs (In Kansas, North Carolina, and Colorado)</li><li>School-based services</li><li>Remote caregiver coaching and support models (For remote BCBA providers)</li></ul></li><li>Maintain state-required licenses, including initiating and overseeing the School Facility License</li><li>Stay current on BACB, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements for BCBAs and RBTs</li><li>Read and interpret contracts, legal guidance, and policies to identify compliance implications</li><li>Draft, update, and implement internal policies and SOPs across all service lines</li><li>Conduct internal audits, including:<ul><li>Progress note audits to ensure clinical documentation aligns with billing and insurance guidelines</li><li>Billing audits to verify coding, timeliness, and documentation compliance</li></ul></li><li>Provide compliance training to clinical and administrative staff across service models</li><li>Partner with leadership to develop corrective action plans as needed</li><li>Monitor credentialing and recredentialing timelines for BCBAs and RBTs</li><li>Serve as a point of contact during external audits and inspections</li><li>Maintain documentation systems to ensure readiness for review by insurers, licensing bodies, or school districts</li><li>Collaborate across departments to anticipate compliance needs in program development</li></ul><hr>What We’re Looking For Required:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of Colorado regulations for ABA providers and facilities</li><li>Familiarity with BACB supervision, credentialing, and ethics standards</li><li>Experience with school-based licensing</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for interpreting legal or policy documents</li><li>Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and auditing skills</li><li>Ability to navigate rules with nuance—knowing when to be rigid and when flexibility is appropriate</li><li>Confidence in drafting policies and implementing system-level changes</li><li>Comfort working remotely and communicating across teams virtually</li><li>Availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Education, ABA, etc.)</li><li>Experience in a compliance, QA/QI, or policy-focused role in ABA, healthcare, or education</li><li>Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial payer policies for ABA services</li><li>Experience with Central Reach or similar EMR systems</li><li>Understanding of HIPAA, FERPA, and relevant privacy laws</li></ul><hr>Compensation & Benefits Benefits Include:<ul><li>401(k) with employer match</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts</li><li>Paid parental leave</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development support</li><li>Company-provided laptop and technology support</li></ul> Salary: $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience Schedule: Full-Time | Remote | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM<hr>Equal Opportunity Employer Willow ABA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
