Join a team that values speed, ownership, and collaboration across design, product, and growth.</p><p></p>Scope of the Role<p>We’re looking for a Front-End Software Engineer with an eye for design and a performance-first mindset to build world-class ecommerce experiences across Shopify and headless stacks. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to craft high-converting pages, drive experimentation, and ship impactful features at scale.</p><p></p>Duties and responsibilities:<p>Build &amp; Ship High-Performance Features</p><ul> <li> Develop and maintain scalable front-end features on Shopify (custom theme + Hydrogen). </li> <li> Own and evolve reusable component libraries and design systems using React and/or Liquid. </li> <li> Deliver pixel-perfect, responsive UIs optimized for mobile and accessibility. </li> <li> Bring CRO- and brand-first experiences to life in collaboration with design and growth. </li> </ul><p>Optimize for Speed, UX &amp; Conversion</p><ul> <li> Enhance page speed, responsiveness, and site structure. </li> <li> Implement and test A/B/C experiments, personalization, and landing page variants. </li> <li> Translate Figma designs into production-ready code. </li> <li> Support retention flows for loyalty, subscriptions, and account management. </li> </ul><p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p><ul> <li> Integrate APIs, apps, and data sources with backend engineers and Shopify developers. </li> <li> Partner with growth teams to develop landing pages and ad destinations rapidly. </li> <li> Implement analytics, tagging, and event tracking across the user journey. </li> <li> Work with UX/CRO teams to refine and test user experiences continuously. </li> </ul><p></p><p></p>
Requirements:<ul> <li> 3+ years in front-end development, ideally in a fast-paced DTC ecommerce setting. </li> <li> Expert in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and React (or similar frameworks). </li> <li> Hands-on experience with Shopify, Liquid templates, and Shopify apps. </li> <li> Strong grasp of responsive design, UX principles, and web performance optimization. </li> <li> Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Convert, VWO, PostHog) and analytics (GA4, Triple Whale, Segment). </li> <li> Excellent async communicator with a collaborative mindset. </li> <li> Bonus: Experience with Shopify Functions and headless commerce stacks.</li> </ul>
