Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a 340B Manager to join our Pharmacy team! This is a remote work opportunity! Coordinates and performs routine compliance audits for hospitals and central pharmacy services center (CPSC) participating in the 340B program. Develops correction action plans to resolve any audit discrepancies. Coordinates any HRSA, manufacturer, and/or mock 340B audits. Coordinates and oversees any manufacturer inquiries. Monitors compliance with 340B split billing software and develops periodic reports for Corporate Director of Pharmacy, Executive Director of Supply Chain, Chief Financial Officer and others as needed. Reviews routine reports from the 340B split billing software on a regular basis; examples of reports include, but not limited to, manual accumulation adjustments, top 20 spend by NDC, and penny buy reports, contract pharmacy revenue. Reviews and assists in reconciling the unmapped crosswalk, negative accumulators, unusually slow/rapid accumulations, daily reconciliations in the 340B split billing platforms, financial reports and other related tasks. Ensures legal, ethical and financial parameters are being adhered to. Seeks direction from Legal, Compliance and Finance depts. when appropriate. Assists annual HRSA recertification completion for all covered entities and appropriately registering any new sites. Develops and/or updates 340B policies and procedures whenever there is clarification to interpretation, or change in the rules, regulations, or guidelines to 340B requirements. Reviews 340B policies and procedures annually. Oversees all points of service related to 340B participation occurs to ensure policies and procedures are followed, entities qualify, and patients qualify as covered patients. Recommends and implements action plans to correct 340B compliance deficiencies, if indicated. Maintains data integrity for all 340B transactions and ensures accurate charging processes. Maintains documentation to comply with legal/regulatory requirements and parameters established. Monitors the daily data feeds for the 340B split billing software and works to correct any missing data or data feed errors. Ensure written agreements between covered entities and contract pharmacy are in accordance with HRSA's Contract Pharmacy Services Guidelines and that records are maintained to demonstrate 340B compliance. Oversees OPAIS registration of contract pharmacies. Performs routine compliance audits and continuously monitors contract pharmacy activity to ensure compliance with 340B regulations. Oversees and develops processes to identify 340B opportunities around the system and potential 340B growth. Monitors central pharmacy process to ensure 340B compliance and optimization. Evaluates potential 340B vendors for potential integration with Baptist. Oversees the 340B Coordinator staff; including reviewing self-audits, establishing priorities, validating recommendations, and optimizing resource allocation. Hires and trains direct reports (system 340B coordinators). Reviews WAC purchases on a regular basis to see if more appropriate purchases could be made at GPO or 340B pricing. Coordinates and organizes the Baptist Health 340B Oversight Steering Committee. Develops quarterly and annual 340B participation reports and dashboards to clearly document utilization, savings, exceptions, or discrepancies. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree OR 5 years’ direct experience in 340B may be substituted for bachelor’s degree. High school diploma or equivalency required. 3 years of job related of experience required. 3 years managing a 340B program at a DSH facility/system. Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals) upon hire. Preferred Job-Related Skills 340B ACE Certification strongly preferred. Managing a 340B program (DSH more preferred than other covered entity types), with management over direct reports. Overseeing the 340B compliance and expansion in a central pharmacy hub/warehouse. Experience with Omnicell as a 340B Third Party Administrator (TPA). Experience with Epic as an electronic health record. Providing oversight of multiple contract pharmacies. Experience with Wellpartner and Walgreens as TPA vendors.
