We are a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified, experienced professionals, using evidence-based therapies to make people feel better. We are excited to be recruiting for School Counsellors to join our team and complete 2 days face to face at one of our partner schools.Our health and wellbeing practitioners are true experts within their fields and part of our fabulous multidisciplinary team; to help our clients receive support in all areas of their wellbeing journey. We work with private clients, businesses and schools to help people live healthier, happier lives. We are a close-knit, supportive team made up of leading industry professionals within different fields including counsellors, psychologists, nutritionists, physical therapists and more. We love working collaboratively as it means we can give our clients the best support. But we aren’t a standard therapy portal, we work within schools, businesses, communities AND we're building a powerful online community too. The Counterpoise Community is on a mental health mission to raise awareness about the current Global Mental Health Crisis and destigmatise therapy more broadly. And our core values are everything to us: Kindness, Empathy, Integrity, Expertise, Commitment to making people feel better.</li><li>We are so proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and we are dedicated to building an inclusive, affirmative and diverse team.</li></ul> We’d like to hear from you if you are:-Looking for face to face work within one of our partner schools-Have a passion for supporting students-Are easily commutable to HARROW.-A driven, extremely personable, confident and experienced practitioner-A practitioner able to work remotely independently and join our multidisciplinary global team.-Someone excited to be part of a rapidly developing business-Registered with appropriate regulatory body e.g. HCPC/BACP, UKCP-Minimum 4 years as a practicing therapist-Have proof of Public Liability Insurance-Have confident knowledge of Google Calendar, Google Meet Calls, Google Mail and navigating online booking systems.-Resilience and the ability to cope with challenging mental health situations-Current Enhanced Children and Adult DBS Clearance (or be willing to undergo this) Bonus points if you:-Have specialist training in Trauma, EMDR and/or Eating Disorders or other specialism-Confident in representing CPW in other areas of its work-See couples or are relationship trained-Experience in delivering group sessions/workshops-Open to working with our social media and marketing team to grow your caseload and take part in mental health campaigning. The role: <ul><li>To provide face to face online individual therapy to clients at one of our partner schools</li><li>To attend regular external clinical supervision</li><li>To attend team meetings (bi-weekly 30 minute call)</li><li>Ensuring your diary is kept up to date on our digital booking system</li><li>To have the capacity to work autonomously and within the BACP, UKCP, HCPC or other regulatory ethical frameworks</li><li>Internal oversight and support will also be provided by our internal Team.</li></ul> Salary:This is determined based on experience and qualifications. Your Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Delivering high-quality support to a range of clients face-to-face and virtually</li><li>To have the capacity to work autonomously and within the BACP, UKCP or HCPC or other ethical frameworks</li><li>To write case notes following each session (digital case note system)</li><li>Working flexibly to meet the needs of the service</li><li>Attending induction sessions as required</li><li>Fulfilling administrative tasks </li><li>Maintaining professional codes of conduct at all times</li><li>Following safeguarding, data protection, confidentiality and other protocols as necessary</li><li>Keeping clear lines of communication with all relevant colleagues</li><li>Liaising with other professionals to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients</li></ul>
