Assembly rates from 40 – 1100 PPM with a much smaller footprint than conventional assembly equipment.</p><p><strong>Mechanical Designer Expert </strong>is a professional specialized in the development of automated systems and mechanical tools, with a focus on 3D design, pneumatics/hydraulics, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role combines advanced technical knowledge with leadership skills to oversee projects from concept to manufacturing.</p><p></p><h3><strong>How is it done?</strong></h3><ul> <li> Uses SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create detailed drawings and perform calculations for forces, speeds, and materials. </li> <li> Selects components (e.g., pneumatic cylinders, servomotors) based on technical requirements. </li> <li> Designs high-speed assembly lines (60+ parts/min), integrating sensors, safety systems, and operational sequences. </li> <li> Validates that systems comply with OSHA, CE, or CSA N285/NQA standards. </li> <li> Coordinates with electrical teams, programmers, and manufacturers to solve issues during integration. </li> <li> Supervises other designers in the absence of the team leader. </li> <li> Organizes technical documentation (drawings, bills of materials, quotations) and ensures compliance with ISO standards.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Education: Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering </p><p>More than 8 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.</p><p>SolidWorks Advanced Level (5+ years):</p><ul><ul> <li> Parametric design, complex assemblies, simulations (FEA) </li> <li> Surface modeling, configuration management </li> <li> Technical drawings creation with GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) </li> </ul></ul><p>AutoCAD: Intermediate Level (2–5 years):</p><ul><ul> <li> Detailed 2D drafting </li> <li> Layers, blocks, scales, and ISO/ANSI standards </li> </ul></ul><p>Traditional Mechanical Design: Advanced Level (5+ years):</p><ul><ul> <li> Force calculations, bearing selection, shafts, gears </li> <li> Fatigue analysis </li> </ul></ul><p>Pneumatics &amp; Hydraulics Intermediate to Advanced Level (3+ years):</p><ul><ul> <li> Selection of pneumatic cylinders (force and stroke calculations) </li> <li> Valve selection, circuit design, predictive maintenance </li> </ul></ul><p>Standards &amp; Regulations Intermediate Level (2–5 years):</p><ul><ul><li> OSHA, CE, ISO 9001, CSA N285/NQA (quality and manufacturing standards) </li></ul></ul><p>Project Management: Basic to Intermediate Level (1–3 years):</p><ul><ul> <li> Use of tools such as MS Project or Primavera </li> <li> Schedule tracking and technical documentation control </li> </ul></ul><p>Technical English: Intermediate Level (2+ years):</p><ul><ul> <li> Reading and writing manuals, interpreting drawings </li> <li> Communication with international teams </li> </ul></ul><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary </li> <li> Above-law benefits </li> <li> Career growth and development plan </li> <li> Remote work scheme </li> <li> Remote work support</li> </ul>
