<p><strong data-start="104" data-end="120">Base Salary:</strong> $85,000–$125,000* + Variable Compensation + Equity<br data-start="171" data-end="174">*Actual base salary is dependent on experience and geographic location.</p>
<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>
<p>The Account Executive plays a key role in driving the growth of Embroker’s Direct Sales channel by converting qualified inbound leads and advising prospective clients on tailored insurance solutions. This role requires a motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for solving client challenges. The ideal candidate is highly responsive, detail-oriented, and methodical in managing pipeline activities to ensure reliable forecasting and consistent progress toward team goals. As a front-line representative of Embroker’s insurtech platform, the Account Executive helps deliver a modern, client-focused buying experience that aligns with our mission to simplify and improve business insurance.</p>
<p><strong>Job Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Pipeline and CRM Management</strong>: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions and deal progress. Ensure all opportunity fields are properly updated to support healthy pipeline hygiene and reliable forecasting. Provide accurate projections toward quarterly goals and collaborate with sales leadership to identify opportunities for improved conversion or deal quality.</li>
<li><strong>Lead Conversion: </strong>Take full ownership of inbound leads generated by Embroker and self-sourced opportunities. Qualify prospects efficiently, assess their business needs, and guide them through the buying journey. Maintain a high conversion rate in line with team benchmarks.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li><strong>Consultative Advisory &amp; Broker Services: </strong>Act as a trusted advisory by understanding each prospect's unique business needs and recommending tailored insurance solutions. Maintain a deep understanding of Embroker’s offerings and open marketing alternatives to deliver exceptional solutions throughout the sales process.</li>
<li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong>Partner closely with the Client Success team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding, supporting clients with post-sale questions and maintaining continuity of service. Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure client needs are addressed promptly and insights are shared to improve the overall customer experience.</li>
<li><strong>Product Improvement: </strong>Leverage insights gained from client interactions and feedback to help shape the evolution of Embroker’s proprietary products. Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree</li>
<li>Relevant professional certification (e.g., RPLU, CPCU, ARM) is a plus</li>
<li>4+ years in commercial insurance client management or sales&nbsp;</li>
<li>Active state insurance license</li>
<li>Experience with professional liability, management liability, or cyber liability is a plus&nbsp;</li>
<li>Skilled at managing &amp; prioritizing workloads to meet the needs of prospective clients</li>
<li>Proven ability to consistently meet sales goals</li>
<li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex insurance themes with senior-level positions at prospects</li>
<li>Experience with Salesforce and Google Suite</li>
<li>Ability to work cross-culturally on a global team</li>
<li>Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li>
<li>Ability to perform at a high-level in a remote work environment</li>
